Welcome to my Neighborhood.

My name is Mark Parkinson RPh I want you to consider me your local pharmacist.  

     I’m a registered pharmacist with over a decade of retail pharmacy experience is over 35 different pharmacies, including the number 1 volume Walmart Store and a 24 hour Walgreens. I have also in the past been in and owned an In Home Elderly Care business (Adult Foster Care) for 18 years. I have personally changed adult diapers, colostomy bags, given hundreds of baths and picked the fallen up in the the middle of the night many, many times.

I consider myself an expert in both fields.   

… Yes,  I have  been a Hospice volunteer and immunizer  and lectured other caregivers groups.

     Over the years I have noticed that people really want to know about their health and want to take care of themselves or their family members. Unfortunately a lot of medical education is written for medical professionals and is hard to understand.  I have created this web site to help those who want to know and do more about there own health and the health of their loved ones… in plain language the anyone can understand and use.

I am also going to give you access to “In the trenches” medical and caregiving advice that will help you in your In home caregiving duties.  You wont find this kind of information in the text books because frankly those authors probably never changed and Adult diaper in the middle of the night and wouldn’t know how to save a comfortable chair from an incontinent elder family member.  I do.

Hopefully together we can make your caregiving efforts more successful, fulfilling and especially easier.
